World-renowned diabetes care comes to Deborah

Long recognizing the strong link between diabetes and heart disease, Deborah Heart and Lung Center is pleased to announce the April opening of the Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate on its campus in Browns Mills.
The Boston-based Joslin Diabetes Center is the global leader in diabetes research, education and care. The Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Deborah will offer the latest advances for treating patients with diabetes and its complications. The center will also provide patient education and support services.
Deborah’s multidisciplinary program will include the services of program Medical Director and endocrinologist Jenine Vecchio, M.D., FACE; a registered nurse; a certified diabetes educator; and a registered dietitian, as well as access to the renowned Deborah Heart and Lung Center cardiac services. Located next to the diabetes center, the program is conveniently situated for central Jersey residents.
