A three-time winner!

In one month, Deborah Heart and Lung Center was honored not once, not twice, but three times as a top hospital.

First, Deborah earned an Excellence Through Insight Award for Overall Inpatient Satisfaction in the medium-hospital category, awarded by HealthStream Research.

Next, Deborah was rated as a top New Jersey hospital by Inside Jersey magazine in their 2011 Top Hospitals edition. In the under 350-bed category, Deborah was rated the No. 1 hospital overall in New Jersey by patients and the fourth-best hospital in the state by physicians. Deborah was also ranked No. 1 by patients for registered nurse communication and for room and bathroom cleanliness. Patients rated Deborah No. 2 in the state for doctor communication while physicians ranked Deborah No. 2 for both coronary surgery and heart failure treatment.

Finally, Deborah was also ranked 16th in the Philadelphia region by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospital Metro Area Rankings—the only one of four South Jersey hospitals recognized for cardiac and pulmonary excellence.
